This Privacy Policy governs mobile applications and web services provided by HeliAviator Labs LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), including software originally published under the developer handle Heli-av8er (founded by Jay Ferguson) which is currently transitioning to HeliAviator Labs LLC.

This policy applies across all supported platforms, including Apple iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and any companion web portals at heliaviatorlabs.com and heli-av8er.com.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We believe that operational flight tools and performance meters do not require surveillance or account creation. Specifically:

• No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, physical address, or phone number within our applications.
• No User Accounts or Passwords: Our applications do not require account creation, registration, or social media logins.
• No Third-Party Analytics SDKs: We do not integrate third-party telemetry, tracking, or behavioral profiling tools (such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tracking software).
• No Advertising Networks: We do not include third-party ad networks, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or targeted marketing SDKs.

3. On-Device Sensor Data & System Permissions

HeliAviator Labs LLC applications are engineered to function without unnecessary system permissions:

Pocket Engine Dyno (Engine Simulation & Virtual Dynamometer)

Zero Sensor & Location Tracking: Pocket Engine Dyno operates strictly as a deterministic physics and thermodynamic simulation engine. The application requires no camera, microphone, GPS location, motion sensor, or background tracking permissions. All combustion calculations, gas dynamics, wave acoustic frequencies, and valvetrain kinematics run entirely in local volatile memory on your device.

Aviation Fuel Converter (V3.4.1) & Aviation Suite

• Zero Permissions Required: Aviation Fuel Converter and companion aviation utilities require no camera, microphone, motion sensor, or location tracking permissions. All calculations—including 5-way unit conversions, ASTM D1250 thermal density algorithms, symmetrical tank water-filling simulations, and logbook currencies—execute strictly on-device without network communication.

4. Local Data Storage & User Exports

Any preferences, presets, custom configurations, or saved specifications you create are stored exclusively in your device's local application sandbox (e.g. iOS UserDefaults, Android SharedPreferences, CoreData, or local sandbox storage):

• Aviation Fuel Converter (V3.4.1): Custom aircraft profiles (such as twin turboprops, business jets, turbine helicopters, and trainers), custom tank capacities, fill priorities, initial tank fuel balances, user-defined Specific Gravity overrides, ASTM temperature presets, and selected cockpit themes are stored strictly locally on your device. Clipboard-exported fuel manifests and fuel slips are generated in volatile device memory and pasted only where you direct. HeliAviator Labs LLC maintains no remote servers, analytics databases, or cloud accounts to receive your flight, fleet, or fuel records.
• Pocket Engine Dyno: Custom short block dimensions, cylinder head flow profiles, camshaft degree timing parameters, and induction configurations remain entirely local to your device. Telemetry CSV export files are dispatched solely via the standard operating system Share Sheet to destinations you designate (iCloud Drive, AirDrop, Google Drive, or local storage).

5. Purchases, StoreKit & Google Play Billing

All purchases, upgrades, or downloads are processed directly by Apple through the Apple App Store via StoreKit or by Google through the Google Play Store via Google Play Billing.

HeliAviator Labs LLC never has access to your credit card details, banking information, billing address, or financial payment credentials. Apple and Google provide developers with cryptographically verified, anonymized transaction receipts solely to unlock purchased functionality and enable purchase restoration.

6. Engine Simulation & Mechanical Advisory Disclaimer

Simulated horsepower, torque, dynamic compression, and valve float limits are estimations derived from user-entered dimensions, atmospheric conditions, and empirical flow models. Actual real-world internal combustion engine assembly requires certified physical clearance checks, precision machining, proper fastener torque sequencing, fuel octane verification, and dyno cell safety precautions. HeliAviator Labs LLC and its developers disclaim any and all liability for mechanical failures, engine component damage, personal injury, or financial loss resulting from real-world engine builds planned using our simulation software.

7. Aviation Calculation Operational Disclaimer

Applications in our aviation catalog (including Aviation Fuel Converter, Hour Difference Calculator, and Date Difference Calculator) are intended as supplementary calculation aids for flight planning and logbook accounting.

The pilot in command (PIC) remains solely responsible for verifying certified weight & balance, fuel requirements under 14 CFR Part 91/121/135 (or applicable ICAO regulations), and ensuring aircraft operations comply with the FAA-approved Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) or Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH).

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our software and web services are not directed toward children under the age of 13. Because our apps collect zero personal data, we do not knowingly collect, store, or solicit information from children.

9. Contact Information & Policy Amendments

We may periodically revise this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates, new regulatory requirements, or App Store guideline updates. Revisions will be posted immediately to this URL with an updated effective date.
